2017 Prodigy 9.5M - New Riders and Freeriders

$899.00$1,499.00

Excellent for New Riders, Freeriders, and Waves - one kite to do it all.

The new 2017 Gen 5 Prodigy is built around a robust 3 strut design, and the most popular & best selling kite from Ocean Rodeo comes by its success honestly. Featuring a massive wind range and incredible flight stability the Prodigy is an ideal choice for kiters looking for the perfect freeride to also take in the waves. With superb power delivery and a generous, forgiving feel the Prodigy delivers smooth turns and effortless big airs and hang time while sitting perfectly in the window and drifting with you when you’re powered up and on a wave.

The Prodigy’s short length bridles reduce the chance of bridle tangles while delivering steering input even when the kite is highly de-powered making tricky landing / launching conditions more manageable.

Sizes: 5, 7, 8, 9.5, 12

Speed Inflate

Get on the water faster with the speed inflation system. Strut to leading edge connector tubes feature easy to use quick clamps for added security while riding.

Direct Depower

Designed to fully roll over and disable your kite in the event of an eject or total depower. The Direct De-power System allows for near total depower of your kite and easy, on water reset and relaunch in the event of an eject. Ideal for riders of all levels.

Variable Line Length

This technology enables riders to tailor their kite’s performance and handling to their riding goals and style. Longer lines generate more power while shorter lines increase speed and response. Ultra short lines provide immediate rider feedback to the kite and a direct snappy feel.
